Welcome to Fyooz, and to our first blog post! Starting a relationship with a financial planner is a lot like…well, starting a relationship - it’s personal. We started Fyooz to create a supportive dedicated space for couples to build their financial futures together and to share our experiences as Certified Financial Planners and as a couple ourselves. Natalie: Wonder how much longer I could sleep if I don't wash my hair today.
Dan: I typically hit snooze a few times, then I'll check email.
N: Changes happen in life (buying a forever home that lasts less than a year, moving across the country, quitting jobs and starting a business) and the one thing I can count on to stay constant is Dan.
D: My favorite part has been sharing our goals with each other, writing them down, and finally seeing them come to life!
N: Maintaining independence while having a cohesive relationship.
D: It can be difficult to find alone time when balancing family, friends and work. We make it a goal to go for a walk and only talk about our relationship.
N: Moving our house plants across the country in the backseat of our car, adjusting them to the new climate, and seeing them still alive and thriving!
D: I recently finished the Berlin Marathon under 4 hours which was my goal!
N: Packing a lunch and taking a day trip to a scenic hiking trail.
D: I really enjoy walking or biking to the local farmers market.
